DoubleTree Phuket Banthai Patong Resort – Deluxe suite room

End of 2020, I came to Phuket to be relaxed along the beach side. The hotels I chose are 2 Hilton brand hotels in Phuket, one is Double Tree by Hilton in Patong beach and anther one is Hilton Arcadia Resort & Spa in Karon beach. The reason for this selection is because I can use my benefit of Hilton Gold membership and they offered quite affordable price despite of year end holiday season.

On first day, I stayed at Double Tree by Hilton in Patong. To come to the hotel, I used Citibank Prestige airport transport benefit that offers card holders free transportation in a certain distance. Basically the service is free but I paid additional 6 USD (≒180THB) for transportation since the hotel was located a bit outside the coverage area in Phuket area. I will make the article to introduce the Citibank Prestige benefit and Hilton Gold membership to you all in near future.

40 min Camry ride to the hotel from Airport.

I arrived at hotel before 9am but managed to check in early without waiting since the room was luckily available already. As you may know, Double Tree brand offers signature welcome cookie to all guests but since I came early cookies were not yet made so staff told me that I can get after 10 am. Later, I came back to the front desk to get one.

Despite peak season of travel, I booked above room 1,503.93THB only including tax and service charge. I would say the price was quite affordable considering luxurious room and hotel facility. Location is good just near the beach front so you can easily go to Patong beach. Hotel staff are also welcoming and caring of hotel guests so I can be really relaxed on my first day of vacation.
